Today (25th) around 1:00 pm, the police received a report from the family of a woman surnamed Ding in Tuen Mun Yue Wu Villa, alleging that the victim had locked herself in a room at the above address, and suspected that she was attempting to commit suicide.
The police arrived at the scene and found the 49-year-old female victim lying in the apartment room with a plate of burnt charcoal next to her. She was confirmed dead at the scene.
Police seized a suicide note at the scene, and the cause of death is yet to be determined after an autopsy.
It is understood that the victim has a record of emotional illness and feels unhappy due to life problems.
