The National Earthquake Center announced that 13 earthquakes were recorded from 8 am today until 4 pm.
The center stated on its Facebook page that the largest tremors were recorded in Turkey with a magnitude of 4.7 and 4.3 on the Richter scale, while all of the 9 tremors in Iskenderun had a magnitude of less than 3 degrees.
And the center had announced earlier today that it had recorded 61 weak tremors during the past 24 hours, until eight in the morning.
In a statement to SANA reporter, the center's director, Dr. Raed Ahmed, explained that, according to these data, the seismic situation is limited to medium tremors and a number of weak tremors, meaning that it takes on the nature of interim stability.
Ahmed pointed out that the sea level is within the normal situation, calling not to be drawn into rumors or to believe them, and to rely only on the information provided by the center.
