A country in protest:

Tens of thousands of people will participate in demonstrations across the country today (Saturday) against the legal revolution led by the Netanyahu government.

In Channel 12's Friday Studio show, it was reported that Netanyahu called on his ministers to punch the protesters.

In the meantime, the Mossad authorized its people to participate in the protests.

In Tel Aviv, starting at 18:00, a torchlight procession is planned from Dizingoff Street, and at 19:00, a huge demonstration will be held on Kaplan Street.

Also in Haifa there will be a march from the auditorium to the Horev center starting at 18:00, then there will be a demonstration there.

In Be'er Sheva the demonstrators will meet at 18:00 at the court square and from there they will march towards the municipality where a demonstration will be held at 19:00.

Another demonstration is planned in front of the home of Justice Minister Yariv Levin in the city of Modi'in at 19:00.

Additional demonstrations will be held in dozens of other cities across the country.

Last Saturday evening over 100 thousand people participated in the demonstrations all over the country.

The expectation is that this week the numbers will be similar.

More than a hundred thousand people are expected to participate in the protests across Israel.

The Israel Police has published the traffic regulations for the planned protest events on Kaplan Street/Government Kiryat in Tel Aviv.

Starting at 4:45 p.m., the following streets will be closed to vehicle traffic:

  • Kaplan St. from Ibn Gvirol to Menachem Begin in both directions.

  • Leonardo Da Vinci St. from Haftman St. to Shaul Hamelech St. in both directions.

  • Leskov St. from Haftman St. to Kaplan in a northerly direction.

  • Arnia St. from Harvea St. to Kaplan St. in a northerly direction.

  • Ibn Gvirol Street between Shaul Hamelech Street and Marmorak Street in both directions.

  • Dizengoff Street between Huberman Street and Ibn Gvirol Street in both directions.

  • Kaplan intersection via Menachem Begin to the north and south (traffic is directed to the sinkholes).

Starting at 5:30 p.m., the following streets will be closed:

  • Hamsgar St. from Yitzhak Sade St. to Menachem Begin Street in a northerly direction.

  • Menachem Begin Road from Shaul Hamelech Blvd to Hashmonaim Street in both directions (including subsidence).

  • Derech HaShalom Street from Moshe Dayan Street to Yigal Alon Street towards the west.

  • Hashmonaim Street towards the east from Karlibach Street.

  • The ascents to the Peace Interchange on the Ayalon lanes from the north and south.

Drop-off points for passengers arriving by shuttle:

  • Shaul Hamelech St. between Weizman St. and Ibn Gvirol St.

  • Hashmonaim Street between Hamsgar Street and Karlibach Street.

  • You must wait in regulated parking lots only, such as the Reading parking lot and the Carmelite parking lot.

The police emphasize that due to the expected blockades, there may be large traffic congestion throughout the city.

"One must obey the instructions of the police officers stationed at the roadblocks and use alternative ways," they said.
