Today, 8 planes from the Emirates and Iran arrived at the airports of Damascus, Latakia and Aleppo, carrying relief aid for those affected by the earthquake.
SANA's correspondent stated that two Emirati planes arrived at Damascus International Airport today, the first carrying 105 tons and 400 kilograms of food and medical supplies, blankets and baby supplies, while the second carried 29 tons and 620 kilograms of medical and nutritional materials and infant formula.
Today, three Emirati planes arrived at Latakia airport carrying relief materials, ambulances and medical supplies.
In a statement to SANA reporter, the Director of Lattakia Airport, Eng. Ziyad Al-Taweel, stated that the first plane carried 8 ambulances equipped with all capabilities and equipment, to support the health system and enhance ambulance services to transport the injured and sick to health centers and hospitals in the province.
Al-Taweel pointed out that the second plane carried two ambulances equipped with all capabilities and equipment to support the health system, and also carried 10 tons of medical aid, explaining that the third plane carried 24.4 tons of relief aid.
Two Emirati planes arrived at Aleppo International Airport today, the first carrying 25 tons of food and relief aid for those affected by the earthquake, while the second carried 30 tons of food and relief supplies.
An Iranian plane also arrived at Aleppo airport carrying food aid, infant formula and relief materials weighing 14 tons.
