Aleppo-SANA
A convoy of food and relief aid arrived in Aleppo today from Lebanon, provided by the regional leadership of the Arab Socialist Baath Party in Lebanon, consisting of 72 trucks for those affected by the earthquake.
The Secretary-General of the Arab Socialist Baath Party in Lebanon, Ali Hijazi, who accompanied the convoy at the head of a delegation, said in a statement to SANA reporter: “Aleppo previously suffered from takfiri terrorism, and today from the devastating earthquake, so it was necessary to attend to confirm full solidarity with Syria and with the Syrian people and Aleppo, and to perform human duty.”
Hijazi added: “This convoy is the least duty of the Baathists in Lebanon towards the Syrian people and the people of Aleppo in facing this humanitarian catastrophe that requires real confrontation and full determination, and to confront the unjust siege imposed on Syria, so the name of this campaign was “Caesar’s law under our feet” aimed at Besieging and starving the Syrian people, and not securing the elements of steadfastness,” stressing that this convoy to Aleppo will not be the last because the disaster is great and the aid is supposed to never end.
In turn, the Secretary of the Aleppo branch of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, Ahmed Mansour, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that this convoy will be delivered to those affected by the earthquake disaster, thanking the regional leadership of the Arab Socialist Baath Party in Lebanon for this gesture, which confirms the depth of relations between the two peoples in Lebanon and Syria.
