Chitwan Park is located in southern Nepal, and is the largest nature reserve in the entire country, and houses a variety of wild animals, including elephants, rhinos, bears, tigers, moose and more.
Tours on jeeps and elephants are offered there, but you can also take tours on foot with a guide, which are considered more dangerous.
In recent years, eight people have been killed in Chitwan from attacks by wild animals, two of them from attacks by wild elephants.
