An earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale struck Anbar Governorate, western Iraq today, without reports of casualties.
The Iraqi News Agency (INA) quoted the Meteorological and Seismic Monitoring Authority in a statement as saying: “Our seismic observatories recorded an earthquake at dawn today, with a magnitude of 3.3, 86 km northwest of the city of Rutba in Anbar Governorate.”
An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale struck on the 22nd of this month, Nineveh Governorate, northern Iraq.
