Today, Hama Governorate distributed food aid provided by the Russian Federation to those affected by the earthquake in the shelter for those affected in the village of Al-Khandaq in Al-Ghab area in the countryside of Hama.
The deputy commander in charge of the administrative affairs of the Russian forces for the Idlib region, Colonel Evenis, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the aid, which included various foodstuffs, is a humanitarian contribution from the Russian friends for the benefit of those affected to alleviate their suffering, stressing the continuity of providing this aid, including the afflicted people in the various regions of the province.
In a similar statement, the director of the Operations Room for Emergency Response to Earthquakes in Hama Governorate, Muhammad Abu Jadaan, stated that the Russian aid includes foodstuffs for residents of the shelter for those affected in the village of Al-Khandaq, as it is one of the villages in Al-Ghab area affected by the earthquake.
