Today, a batch of Russian humanitarian aid arrived with a medical point, to provide relief to those affected by the earthquake in the town of Al-Hanadi, in the countryside of Lattakia.
The representative of the Russian Reconciliation Center at the Hmeimim base, Major Alexander, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the distribution of relief aid to the areas affected by the earthquake has continued since the first day of the earthquake, according to a daily and regular plan to ensure access to all needy families, indicating that the aid that arrived in the town of Al Hanadi It includes foodstuffs, infant formula, and medical medicines, and is accompanied by a medical team to conduct examinations for children, women, and the elderly.
In turn, the head of the Hanadi town council, Mazen Al-Budi, stated that the aid was delivered to the municipality to be distributed later to the people according to lists of the most affected and needy people, expressing great thanks to the Russian leadership and people for their continuous support and standing by Syria.
