Senior officials of Degal HaTorah, one of the factions that make up Torah Judaism and headed by Knesset member Moshe Gafni, told Walla this morning (Sunday) that "we will not vote in favor of the budget in the Knesset until the full budget for ultra-Orthodox education and ultra-Orthodox exempt institutions is introduced."
This morning, the faction's partisan website, Yad Na'am, published an implicit criticism that the budget approved by the government last Friday does not include items that were promised to it in the coalition agreements, such as budgets for educational institutions that do not teach 100% Liva studies. The newspaper states that these are "
issues which were expressly agreed upon prior to the government meeting with the Prime Minister, but Netanyahu ignored and did not bring it to the government meeting and they did not enter the approved budget."
Therefore, it was written on behalf of the party, "today the Degal Torah faction will hold additional consultations and establish a team to examine the coalition agreements and demand their implementation."
