Against the background of riots among settlers in Hawara following the attack that took place today (Sunday), in which Hillel Menachem Weigal Yaakov Yaniv were murdered on their way home to the settlement of Har Bracha, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich liked a post on Twitter calling for "erasing the village".
A short time later, the chairman of the Otzma Yehudit party himself uploaded a post to social networks in which he called to calm the spirits, this after MK Benny Gantz called his silence dangerous.

As I recall, the riots in Hawara included settlers throwing stones at Palestinians, burning houses and cars, and harming the villagers.

The silence of ministers Smotrich and Ben Gvir is shameful and dangerous.
All public leaders must call and act now to calm the spirits.

My fellow settlers, the pain is great, but believe me we are working hard to provide a real answer to terrorism, both militarily and settlerly.
Since the terrible attack, we have only been busy with this.
But we must not take the law into our hands and create a dangerous anarchy that could get out of control and cost human lives.
Let us as a political echelon formulate the answer and let the IDF win in Israel

We will fix it!
