This time, the platform is in the news for promoting the
registration for taxi drivers in all the cities of the country where it is available.
This will allow them to start making trips through the application and access all the technological advantages that it offers from its app.
Uber announces two special promotions for taxi drivers until March 31.
As it is already public knowledge,
Uber is much more than a means of transportation
.
It proposes another way of conceiving travel, a different way of thinking about the development of cities towards the future, and an effective way to help companies grow.
Plus, it's a
world of opportunity for drivers
who have the ability to earn money quickly, manage their schedules, and work safely.
This new launch that features taxis will not only allow the passenger to have a greater availability of vehicles when taking their trip, but it will also give
taxi drivers insurmountable and exclusive benefits
To consolidate the growth in the number of taxi drivers registered to drive with the app,
Uber will offer two special promotions until March 31
.
The first one,
those interested who register and start driving can get up to an additional $100,000 when they complete their first 50 trips before the end of the promotion.
On the other hand,
taxi drivers who are already registered will be able to receive up to an additional $50,000
for each new taxi driver they invite to the platform and who completes 50 trips before the end of the promotion.
Eli Frías, Uber's Regional Operations Manager for Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay, stated: "We are excited by the growth in the number of taxi drivers who choose the Uber app to make trips and thus be able to offer more mobility solutions in the country's cities. .
We want taxi drivers to see everything they can add with the Uber app and the economic opportunities that the demand for trips opens up in the app”.
This initiative was already available in some parts of the country, but now it is extended to more cities.
Taxi drivers from Buenos Aires, Mendoza and Mar del Plata already offer trips through the application.
And not a minor fact, the number of
trips made by taxis through the Uber app tripled in the last three months.
From now on, taxi drivers from Córdoba, Tucumán, Corrientes, Salta, Santa Fe, Rosario, Comodoro Rivadavia, Jujuy, Neuquén, Paraná, Posadas, Resistencia, Bahía Blanca and Reconquista can join Uber.

Traveling safely is a priority
In addition to the comfort and practicality of the system, one of the main values associated with Uber is
travel safety.
This allows any type of passenger to board the vehicles calmly, knowing that they can be monitored at all times and that the
service has several measures in place
in this regard.
Similarly,
registered taxi drivers will have the same benefits
.
It is important to note that
all trips made by a taxi in the Uber app have SURA coverage
for personal accidents and civil liability, which is automatically activated from the moment the driver accepts a trip until the last user get out of the vehicle.
In addition,
these trips have all the security features available on the Uber platform
, such as: security center, real-time ride sharing, audio recording during trips, PIN verification that allows users to make sure they are in the correct vehicle.
