Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced that Russia will continue to supply his country with military equipment and weapons, in favor of the Belarusian section of the regional group of forces of the Union State between Russia and Belarus.
“We will be handed over Su-30SM warplanes, Mi-35 helicopters, armored personnel carriers, in addition to other weapons, missiles and ammunition,” Lukashenko was quoted by the Novosti agency as saying in today’s remarks.
Lukashenko added, “In order to equip the Belarusian part of the regional group of forces of the Union State, the Russian side also supplied Iskander tactical missile systems, as well as S-400 air defense missile systems,” noting that “within the framework of the government’s armament program, it was purchased and delivered.” a battery of Tor anti-aircraft missile systems,
As well as anti-tank guided missiles, mortars, infantry jet flamethrowers, and more than 830,000 pieces of ammunition of various calibers.
