The Syrian Trust for Development, in cooperation with the Norwegian Refugee Council, held an entertainment activity for children affected by the earthquake in a shelter in the Naqaa neighborhood in the city of Jableh.
The activity official in the Municipality, Kinana Hamdan, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that these activities are held in all centers for children and adults on a regular basis, with the aim of providing psychological and recreational support for children, through paragraphs presented in a thoughtful manner, and carefully selected for such cases.
Malak Muhammad, a technical assistant in the Education Department of the Norwegian Refugee Council, stated that these sessions and technical paragraphs, which are presented by a trained team, aim to relieve children and adapt to the new environment in the centers, and provide psychological and social support for two age groups, the first between six and nine years, and the second up to four. Ten years, pointing out that these activities will be presented in other shelters in the city of Jableh.
