Now there are first visible measures: Some trees have been felled
Wolfratshausen – With investment costs of around 50 million euros, it is the most extensive construction project that the Wolfratshausen City Council has initiated: the general renovation and expansion of the elementary and middle school on Hammerschmidweg.
The first tree felling in the area of the entrance to Sauerlacher Straße and the parking lot has now begun.

"There are 40 trees, 30 large shrubs and smaller shrubbery," puts Thomas Wenig, an employee in the town hall's building and real estate department, on the table.
Some - "about ten to twelve" - would soon have fallen victim to the chainsaw even without the start of construction.

Tree felling in Wolfratshausen: school expansion starts
As reported, the existing waste water sewer is to be relocated from the west to the east side in advance of the work.
"The work on this has already been assigned," explains Wenig.
According to the current status, the start should probably fall during the Easter holidays and be completed after a good month.
Further preliminary measures, such as construction site equipment and earthworks including shoring, are advertised.
"Likewise, the first major package will all be released in April," reports Little.
This includes scaffolding, master builders, electrical, heating, plumbing, swimming pool technology, ventilation, IT and a few smaller trades.

The official invitation to the groundbreaking will be in July.
Little: "You can already see the construction site facilities, but the earthworks with shoring have not yet started." The sheet piles with the earthworks will then begin with the beginning of the summer holidays.
