In order to address the negative effects of the earthquake, the psychological support team at the Martyr Amin Al-Najjar Association of the Revolutionary Youth Union branch in Daraa is implementing recreational activities for children in a number of Syrian governorates affected by the earthquake.
The youth team, which underwent intensive training courses, according to the Secretary of the Martyr Association, Amin al-Najjar Saeed al-Shahadat, organized an activity in Aleppo governorate and will go to other governorates whose children were psychologically affected by the earthquake, stressing to SANA reporter that the recreational activities would draw a smile on the faces of children, especially those who were affected and whose property was damaged. by the earthquake.
And he indicated that this work comes out of the national and humanitarian duty towards the parents, which is the least that can be provided in these bad conditions, explaining that psychological support is provided to children in the affected governorates through competitions, games, targeted activities and theatrical explorations.
In her turn, the trainer, Batool Saqrja, said: “We worked to prepare a team to support children psychologically in the affected governorates and to mitigate as much as possible the effects of the earthquake on them through targeted activities.” It is necessary for all parties to work to alleviate their suffering, in a way that contributes to overcoming the effects of the disaster as quickly as possible.
