The Arab Nasserite National Campaign in Lebanon, through the charitable restaurant it set up in Aleppo, provides 2,000 meals per day to the people affected by the earthquake, in shelters.
Campaign manager Basil Kharrat explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the campaign is being held in partnership with parties, civil associations and organizations operating in Lebanon, and is working to provide 2,000 daily meals to serve the affected people in the shelters in the neighborhoods of Sukkari, Jisr al-Hajj, Suleiman al-Halabi, Karm al-Qaterji and Bustan al-Basha, in addition to distributing blankets. Clothes, baby milk and medicines, in addition to providing psychological support for children in schools.
Thaer Khairallah, one of the volunteers in the campaign, stated that he participates by donating and supporting the charitable restaurant with the necessary foodstuffs to secure food for the needy people in the shelters, calling on commercial and tourism activities to support the families affected by the earthquake disaster.
Chef Abdul Karim Husari mentioned that meals reach about 800 families daily, with the help of a team of volunteers, numbering more than forty people, who contribute to delivering meals to shelters.
Volunteer Muhammad Qassas, from Bustan Al-Qasr, stated that he contributes to working in the kitchen with a humanitarian motive to help needy families.
