Measure

It was announced this Monday through the

Official Gazette

of the Buenos Aires government as "adjustments that are necessary for the operation of the services", including "operation, maintenance, and also sustaining the salary of the workers", they affirmed.

"These services have fixed costs that are periodically adjusted according to inflation. Even so, in all cases, an attempt was made to update the rates and balance the variables, trying to cause the least possible impact on users," they said from the City.

The first increase will be that of the

Vehicle Technical Verification (VTV)

The value will go from $45 to $81

an hour starting this Tuesday, an increase of

They also announced that a new progressive system

will be implemented as of March ,

where the rate will increase from the second hour, with the aim of giving it more rotation and discouraging parking in downtown Buenos Aires.

In these spaces, 30% is added to the value per hour.

The first hour will cost $81, but the second one already rises to $105.30, the third to $136.90 and from the fourth onwards it will cost $178. That is,

For resident neighbors, free parking is maintained 300 meters from their home.

The other services that will also increase from tomorrow are hauling and

rental of bicycles from the Ecobici system.

the service will increase

45 percent

, from

discounts of 20%, 30% and 40% are automatically applied once more than 20, 30 or 40 monthly trips are exceeded
