Today, a court in Denmark sentenced a Danish-Bosnian woman to four years in prison for her association with the terrorist organization (ISIS) in Syria.

Reuters reported that the court sentenced the woman to four years in prison and stripped her of her Danish citizenship on charges of aiding ISIS terrorists.

She added: This 38-year-old woman traveled to Syria with her husband and their children in February 2015, and worked as a housewife in the city of Raqqa, and was evacuated from a detention camp in Syria in 2021.

Elmina Alic admitted that she helped the extremist organization by working as a housewife, according to her lawyer, who said that she had not yet decided whether to appeal the verdict.

In 2021, three women and 14 children were transferred from Syria to Denmark. Upon their arrival in Denmark, the women were arrested and charged with association with a terrorist organization and illegal travel. Last year, one of the three women was sentenced to three years in prison.

Many European countries are trying to ward off the threat of terrorism that they have supported, financed and given to it with various misleading names in Syria, and to prevent their citizens who joined terrorist organizations from returning to their country.
