A 39-year-old man
was killed in Moreno with a shot to the chest
by a group of criminals who wanted to steal his motorcycle.
Everything happened in front of the victim's girlfriend, who was traveling with him and had to be treated in shock.
Hernán Albano Cocchiarella
was approached by motorcycles at the corner of Belisario Roldán and La Piedad, in the town of La Reja.
He was returning from his work as a tollbooth employee, along with his partner.
Cocchiarella
was riding a 150 cc Yamaha cross-type motorcycle
when he was approached by the motochorros, who were traveling in a Honda Falcon according to information collected by the Primer Plano portal.
According to said portal, the attack occurred when the man was already handing over the motorcycle to the thieves.

His partner was in a state of shock and is the one who reaches out to ask for help at 911, ”police sources said.
Cocchiarella was the father of an 8-year-old girl and worked on the Autopista del Oeste.
He lived in the Paso del Rey area.
“Those of us who were lucky enough to know Albano will remember him as
a wonderful person, who knew how to overcome many hard blows
that life gave him.
He will always be present in our memories.
He looked to the future, with many projects ahead, ”they fired him on social networks.
Luciano, the victim's father, expressed all his pain for Hernán's crime: "We are so insecure in this country. It is not only in Moreno. This is a disaster and the truth is that they took my life away.
"
The man also said that
his son had already had a motorcycle stolen
and that is why he had advised him to sell it.
"This is an everyday landscape, something has to be done. Everyone goes into words and they do nothing at all," questioned the 75-year-old man.
The investigation was carried out by prosecutor Luis Pontecorvo, from Prosecutor's Office No. 3 of the Moreno-General Rodríguez Judicial Department.
The crime
is the third homicide that has occurred in the Moreno cemetery area
in the last year, all committed by motorcycles.
In March 2022, Rolando Díaz (45) had been killed in a robbery attempt while waiting for the bus.
In November,
Mauro Prieto had been robbed while riding his motorcycle.
He had bought his Gilera Smash (for 300,000 pesos) 96 hours before.
They wanted to assault him in La Reja, Moreno.
Prieto fled, they shot at him, they wounded him in the shoulder, he fell and his head hit the asphalt.
He died.
The expert opinion confirmed that he died from the bullet and not from the subsequent blow.
This case, along with the murder of businessman Pedro Blaquier while he was riding his motorcycle on the Pan-American Highway, led to
a massive protest by motorcyclists in front of Quinta de Olivos
demanding more security.
"In the last year we had more than one hundred Mauros. The kids (by thieves and murderers) are at stake and they shoot you because they have nothing to lose. We do, and it is our life," said one of the speakers, a representative of the about 100 motorcycle groups that participated in the act.
