Three months after the mysterious disappearance of a young couple in Deux-Sèvres, a man was arrested this Tuesday, February 28 in the morning in Vendée by the gendarmes, according to a source close to the file confirming information from the Courrier de l'
Ouest
.
Leslie Hoorelbeke, 22, and Kévin Trompat, 21, have not given any sign of life since the night of November 25 to 26 in Prahecq, a town of 2,000 souls near Niort, where they had spent the evening.
The man who was arrested is an acquaintance of theirs, according to the same source.
The privileged criminal track
This is the first development to occur in this case on which the investigators of the Poitiers research section have remained very discreet.
After a worrying disappearance investigation, opened by the Niort prosecutor's office, the criminal track was favored at the end of December with the opening of a judicial investigation, in Poitiers, for arrest, kidnapping, detention or kidnapping.
On the evening of November 25, the couple spent the evening with a friend living in Prahecq.
The two young people then had to sleep in a neighboring house, lent by another friend who did not live there.
They disappeared into the night.
The couple's belongings were found in December in a clothing recycling container in Puyravault (Charente-Maritime).
