In the name of President al-Assad… The Governor of Aleppo honors the members of the Fire Brigade, Civil Defense and Ambulance System

On behalf of President Bashar al-Assad, the Governor of Aleppo, Hussein Diab, honored the members of the Fire Brigade, Civil Defense and the Rapid Ambulance System, for their exceptional efforts during their participation in rescue operations, removal of rubble and recovery of victims, as a result of the earthquake that struck the city of Aleppo.

In a statement to SANA reporter, the governor affirmed that President Bashar al-Assad's honoring of the rescue men is a message of love and appreciation to these heroes who spared no effort in providing everything they could, arrived day and night, and participated with all sincerity and dedication in the national and humanitarian efforts to save the injured, remove the rubble, and search for survivors. Pointing out that their great efforts were at the core of the interest and follow-up of the master of the homeland.

The members of the Fire Brigade, Civil Defense and the Rapid Ambulance System expressed their thanks and gratitude for this generous gesture from the President, which gives them an incentive to exert more effort and giving, stressing that what they have done is part of their humanitarian and professional duty towards their afflicted families.

Dr. Muhammad Jihad Baij, head of the rapid and emergency ambulance system at Aleppo Health, pointed out that their honor by President al-Assad is a medal of honor for their efforts in service to the homeland, as they stood side by side with the concerned institutions to complete rescue operations in Aleppo.

The worker, Manhal Ziyadah, in charge of the wireless department of the rapid ambulance system, said: This honor is a motive for us to remain on alert and to continue to make the greatest effort in order to serve the country.

In his turn, Brigadier General Mohsen Kanani, Commander of the Fire Brigade in Aleppo, thanked President al-Assad for the generous gesture of his Excellency to the members of the fire brigade, pointing out that President al-Assad's visit to Aleppo at the work sites, the meeting with the members of the regiment, and his participation in their efforts, is the greatest appreciation placed on the issuance of the members of the regiment.

Firefighter Ziyad Yassin, a land and water rescue trainer, said: Honoring the President and appreciating the efforts made, makes us accelerate the pace to continue presenting the national and humanitarian duty.

For his part, Colonel Tammam Al-Naim, Commander of the Civil Defense in Aleppo, stated that honoring his sovereignty like the sun gives motivation and a bright future to all the Civil Defense’s sons, saying: We pledge to Mr. President to make every effort and to offer every drop of blood and sweat, so that the civil defense elements are at the good expectation of the leadership until the liberation of Syria Sweetie.

Sergeant Qusai Tlass of the civil defense personnel, explained that honoring President al-Assad to the civil defense personnel is not a strange matter for his sovereignty, as he is the one who knows the appreciation of men and efforts, promising the president and the country that we will be loyal soldiers and workers under the wise leadership.
