According to Sky History, the oldest British monarchs to be crowned before King Charles ranged in age from their late fifties to mid-sixties.
The three oldest monarchs before him were King William IV (65, † 1861), who was crowned in 1830 at the age of 64, and King Edward VII (68, † 1910), who ascended the throne in 1901 at the age of 59 , and King George IV (67, † 1830, who ascended the throne in 1820 at the age of 57.
