An industrial accident occurred in Mong Kok.
At about 4 o'clock in the morning, it was reported that in the MTR Mong Kok Station, an employee of the elevator company was suspected of being pinched by the elevator while performing maintenance work on the escalator near Exit B.
The victim screamed in pain and alerted his colleagues to report the crime.
The ambulance personnel arrived at the scene and found that all four fingers of the victim's right hand, except the thumb, were pinched off, so they immediately disinfected him to stop the bleeding.
The victim was still conscious and was sent to Kwong Wah Hospital by ambulance.
Firefighters were at the scene to assist in the search for the victim's severed fingers. It is known that all of them have been recovered and taken to the hospital for connection.
The police are investigating the incident and classifying it as an "industrial accident" for follow-up.
The injured colleague was also accompanied to the hospital and assisted the police in the investigation.
The injured man was conscious when he was taken to the hospital with a serious injury to his right hand.
