An uninhabited building, consisting of six floors, collapsed in Al-Jubaila neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city. No injuries were reported as a result of the collapse.
The head of the Deir ez-Zor City Council, Engineer Jarir Kakakhan, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the building is one of the cracked buildings and was damaged as a result of terrorist operations during the war period, pointing out that the building was evaluated among the cracked buildings after the earthquake, pointing out that the building was affected by the earthquake and the tremors that followed it. , which led to its collapse.
Kakakhan indicated that the city council evacuated the neighboring buildings, and the service workshops in the governorate began work to remove the rubble resulting from the collapse of the building, and the Structural Safety Committee inspected the neighboring buildings to address any defect that occurred in them as a result of this collapse.
