The Prime Minister, Eng. Hussein Arnous, called on all ministries and public agencies to follow up on the implementation of their work plans approved in the current year's budget, and to put projects into service within the specified time programs, which will reflect positively on the reality of services, in parallel with the priority of dealing with the effects of the earthquake in the affected areas and securing all services and necessities. basic needs for those affected and the rehabilitation of damaged infrastructure.

During the weekly session of the Council of Ministers today, Engineer Arnous directed the ministries to expedite the completion of incentive systems with the aim of improving the living conditions of workers, and in another context he stressed the need to give the required care to decisions related to the export of local products by the concerned authorities, in a way that guarantees achieving a balance between the interests of producers on the one hand and consumers on the other. On the other hand, and in order not to cause any instability in any material, stressing the securing of all food and basic materials before the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan, and strictly following up the reality of prices and holding violators and monopolists accountable.

It was emphasized that all ministries follow up the installation of movement tracking devices / GPS / to track vehicles and mechanisms according to the approved slides and time limits, in order to achieve control and reduce waste in oil derivatives, in addition to completing procedures for evacuating private buildings rented by the public sector and returning them to their owners within The specified time periods, in a way that guarantees the rights of all parties.

The Council also asked the relevant ministries to set priorities for cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries, and to prepare files ready to deal with any cooperation initiatives at various levels, in a way that achieves the supreme national interest, while expressing its appreciation to all countries that provided support to the Syrian people in facing the repercussions of the earthquake.

The Council was briefed by the Minister of Local Administration and Environment, Engineer Hussein Makhlouf, Chairman of the Higher Committee for Relief, on the reality of the work of the sub-committees in the governorates, the mechanisms for distributing aid to those affected by the earthquake, and the stages reached by the committees formed to limit and classify damage.

The Council was also briefed by the Minister of Electricity, Eng. Ghassan Al-Zamil, on the reality of implementing and rehabilitating electrical projects in the Deir Ali stations in the countryside of Damascus, Rastan in Lattakia, and the Aleppo thermal station, where it was emphasized that work on these projects will continue at high rates to put them into service during the coming period.

The Council approved the plan of the Ministry of Communications and Technology in the field of communications and post in terms of services provided, financial returns, volume of spending and human resources, and listened from the Minister of Communications and Technology, Eng. Work on it to complete the national register for these projects, in addition to other work programs and projects at the Ministries of Transport, Health and others, in the context of the government's endeavor to automate services and facilitate and simplify citizens' access to these services.

The Council discussed a draft legislative instrument establishing the Syrian Authority for Health and Drug Laboratories, which is concerned with conducting experiments and research to ensure the safety and effectiveness of medicine, pharmaceutical and food preparations, and monitoring diagnostic tests and their quality, in accordance with the specifications approved in the relevant international constitutions.

The Council stressed the need to increase the areas cultivated with the products that the local market needs, in order to secure them in sufficient quantities, quality and reasonable prices, in a way that contributes to reducing import costs and directing it towards the most necessary and needed materials, in parallel with reviewing export operations and addressing everything related to it in various aspects.

The Council approved the proposal of the Ministry of Education to conduct general certification exams in all its branches, starting from the seventh of next June until the twenty-sixth of it.

The Council of Ministers also agreed to complete the contracting procedures for the supply of blood purification supplies to the public health sector authorities for the need for industrial kidney dialysis sessions and to secure the needs of hospitals from them, and to rehabilitate the Nairab Bridge on the southern Aleppo shunt, in addition to a number of service and development projects in a number of governorates.
