Santiago Korovsky, protagonist and producer of the fiction of the moment, dedicated a song to his neighborhood together with the group Freelancers.

"Munro, it is not cheaper than Chile but it is easier to get to

Munro

. A local option at a popular price," says one of the stanzas of

Paraíso comercial

, the theme that sounds on

YouTube

.

In 2016 Santiago Korovsky -protagonist and director of the series of the moment- uploaded a video to that platform that in less than a week had

.

A number for the time.

This funny ode to Munro, the town that is north of the Buenos Aires suburbs and a few kilometers from the Federal Capital, went viral under the name of the Freelancers group, made up of the actors Santiago Korovsky, Demian Velazco Rochwerger and Gastón Gordon, who

wrote

the theme, they performed it and also edited it with the help of some friends.

"The Freelancers was a group we had with Gastón Gordon and Demi Velazco Rochwerger with whom we made videos, including a commercial paradise, Munro's, where some boys went on vacation to Munro due to the country's economic crisis. Today Demi participates in the series doing the voice of the official announcer of the urban guard and Gastón lives in Vienna but he helped me a lot with his opinions and he has two small cameos in the series. We always talked and he was a great support for me throughout the process, "says Santiago to

División Palermo is the politically incorrect Argentine series, discontractura

, which under the wing of humor allows itself to address issues such as inclusion, religion and disability.

The result is eight chapters that challenge to the same extent as they entertain, with a more than appreciable average time per chapter: between 23 and 29 minutes.

"That stage with the Freelancers, and the one that came later where I filmed sketches that were as cinematographic as possible with a very low budget, were a kind of audiovisual humor laboratory and an enormous learning experience for me," Santiago acknowledges.

Under the name of Algo de Carlos, he also made several pieces where -he acknowledges- "somehow I was learning to act and direct at the same time and to play with audiovisual genres. I would love to be able to film sketchs again and one day do a special of comedy. It's a genre that I like to explore because it gives you a lot of freedom and the possibility of taking the absurd to another level."
