The Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection set the selling price of 95-octane gasoline to the consumer at 6,600 Syrian pounds per liter.
The ministry indicated in its decision, a copy of which SANA received today, that the new price includes the annual renewal fee for vehicles running on gasoline, which is set at 50 Syrian pounds per liter.
According to the decision, the owners of gas stations dedicated to selling these materials must announce these prices and the quality of the material in a clear and legible manner within the stations, and violators of the provisions of this decision are subject to the penalties stipulated in Legislative Decree No. 8 of 2021, and everything that is contrary to that decision is terminated.
Last January, the Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection set the selling price of 95-octane gasoline to the consumer at 5,750 Syrian pounds.
