The origin
After the tour carried out two years ago by the authorities of the University of Morón through Latin America and the United States, with the aim of observing how it was being taught in the world, this initiative to create training paths arose.
Pablo Navarro, Secretary General of the University, highlighted that these study houses were focusing on employability.
This is how the idea of incorporating the skills that companies were demanding into traditional training began to take hold.
"We discovered that we could generate a project so that students during their training could incorporate these routes" highlighted Pablo Navarro. Consequently, progress was made in the alliance with Coursera, a virtual education platform that offers its services to different universities around the world and companies The diagnosis of the trip, in which we worked for a year, was the need to explore which skills were most requested by the labor market.Finally, seven of the ten most in demand were chosen, which are the ones that are reflected in the courses starting in 2023.

“The reality is that companies demand a human resource that is not so specific in the discipline.
What they are looking for is that you also have other skills.
For example, in technology.
All professionals should have at least an initial level of programming”, remarked Navarro.
In this way, taking what was observed abroad, they decided to design the
four routes that are distributed throughout the race on a semester basis.
These are Effective Communication;
Leadership, Emotional Intelligence, Teamwork and Creativity;
Innovative Technologies, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science;
Project Management and Agile Methodologies.
Each of them is made up of three courses that, upon completion, the student must take a face-to-face workshop at the University of Morón.
In this way, the route will be validated and it will be incorporated as a supplement to the ticket.
In addition,
for each approved course, students will obtain a credential with the certification of the University or Company that dictates it.
In this sense, those who accompany these programs are Google, IBM, Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico), University of Michigan (United States), University of Illinois (United States), Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain), Universidad de los Andes ( Colombia), DeepLearning.AI, ORT University (Uruguay), University of Edinburgh (Scotland) and Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, United States).
