Avraham Plai, the father of 8-year-old Asher and 6-year-old Jacob who were murdered in the attack in the Ramot neighborhood, regained consciousness yesterday (Tuesday) - three weeks after he was seriously injured in the attack, and was taken off the ventilator.

"When he heard that his children had been murdered, he cried and immediately said that he had to sit down and do a tear," he recalled.
"He asked for a shirt to be put on him and he tore in mourning for the murder of his two sons. He said, 'My sins caused this. Why did God do this to me?'"
