A Palestinian young man died this evening of being shot by the Israeli occupation forces during their raid on Aqbat Jaber camp in the city of Jericho in the West Bank.
Wafa news agency reported that Mahmoud Hamdan, 22, died of serious abdominal injuries as a result of being shot by the occupation forces during their raid into the camp. They arrested the young man before his death, and prevented ambulance crews from reaching him and two others.
The occupation forces continue to besiege the city of Jericho for the third day in a row, as they prevent the entry and exit of Palestinians. They also used a Palestinian and his child as a human shield during their storming of Aqabat Jabr camp, south of the city, this afternoon, and fired bullets at Palestinians and their homes.
With Hamdan's martyrdom, the number of Palestinians who have been killed since the beginning of this year by the occupation forces' bullets has risen to 67, including 13 children.
