The Dutch airline KLM announced that starting on May 27, it will fly to the popular destination on a Boeing 777 • Meaning: doubling the number of seats on flights, which will be more comfortable, and also adding an entertainment system and business class to flights

Amsterdam is considered one of the most sought after cities among world tourists in general and Israeli tourists in particular.

Now, the Dutch airline KLM has announced a change in the aircraft that will be operated on this route.

Until now, the company, which is also responsible for many connection flights to America, operated narrow-body planes, but soon this will change - and the company will operate its Boeing 777 on the route to Israel.

• F-T-V-H: the destinations that returned after almost three years and the new flight options

The decision has quite a few meanings, first of all the doubling of the number of seats on the company's flights to Amsterdam, which will be more comfortable and on larger planes, and will also include an in-flight entertainment system and a good business class with flat beds.

At the moment, all five airlines that operate direct flights from Israel to Amsterdam, do so in narrow-body planes - Transavia, El Al, Arkia, EasyJet and of course KLM, which operates a daily flight from Israel.

The maiden flight to the destination in the wide-body plane will depart on May 27, and these will continue at this stage until October 27.

Alon Neta, commercial director of "Air France Klem" in Israel, said: "KLM prioritizes the well-being of passengers on its flights and invests many resources to improve the passenger experience. The upgrade of the aircraft on the Tel Aviv-Amsterdam route is intended to support and strengthen the company's passenger traffic in Israel, both for business purposes and for vacation purposes, and allow passengers to enjoy an upgraded flight experience on the route to Israel. The flight route between the two countries is used by many business people, who will now be able to enjoy a bed seat and a larger personal space, which contributes to an upgraded flight experience according to their business needs."
