The town hall of Lille announced on Wednesday that the city's information systems were the victims of a cyberattack of unknown origin, the measures taken to protect the servers having notably led to the shutdown of its telephone switchboard.

no difficulty was observed on the data stored on the system and the servers

Access to the City's telephone platform, on the other hand, was stopped due to security measures, but it should be restored during the day on Thursday.
Cyberattacks have multiplied in recent weeks against public establishments and French local authorities.
The regions of Normandy and Guadeloupe, the city of Caen or the departments of Seine-Maritime and Seine-et-Marne are among the communities recently affected.
