As-Suwayda - SANA
Today, the branch of the General Organization for Seed Multiplication in As-Suwayda finished selling wheat seeds for the current season.
The director of the branch, Engineer Salaf Al-Saad, stated in a statement to SANA reporter today that the quantities sold amounted to 883 tons, most of which are of the two varieties Sham 3 and Douma 1 Mohsen, as they were provided at the appropriate times for cultivation and at a price of 2750 Syrian pounds per kilogram.
Al-Saad indicated that the quantities sold were good compared to the conditions of the season, and the planting date was delayed in many locations, pointing out that it was secured according to the agricultural regulation documents issued by the Directorate of Agriculture.
During the current season, the Foundation branch provided about 113 tons of barley seed, Furat 2, at a price of 2100 pounds per kilo.
