Buthaina Shaaban, Special Adviser to the Presidency of the Republic, affirmed that the earthquake disaster proved that the terrorist war against the Syrian people did not affect their coexistence, affiliation and compassion, noting that there is a positive Arab movement towards Syria, and that Damascus is open to relations with all Arab countries.
Dr. Shaaban said in an interview with Russia Today channel: The disaster of the earthquake that struck Syria confirmed that 12 years of terrorist war against the Syrian people did not affect their coexistence, affiliation, compassion and love, as Syrians from all over the country came to help the afflicted and are still providing assistance, and neither did he fail. Dr. Shaaban added: The earthquake led to Arab panic, as most of the Arabs participated in sending aid to Syria, and this shows us that the Arab people, in their conscience and conscience, are a people who love each other, and are rooted in common bonds of language, history and feelings. Dr. Shaaban explained that there is a positive Arab movement towards Syria, and we interact with it as required by the Arab interest and the interest of our people, stressing that Damascus is open to relations with all Arab countries, as Syria has historically been the beating heart of Arabism and is associated with excellent relations with Arab countries, and she said: “No President al-Assad still believes in good relations with the Arab countries, given that the fate of the Arabs is one.”
