Created in 1931 and hosted by Gallimard since 1933, this prestigious collection is home to the cream of French and international writers.
They most often enter it after their death – but eighteen authors have had the honor of entering the “Pléiade” during their lifetime

Antoine Gallimard, the CEO of the house located rue Gaston-Gallimard, has also been the director of the “Pléiade” since 1988 – to which he is particularly attached.
