Police officer Amir Raz admitted today (Tuesday) in the Central Lod District Court that he murdered his wife Diana Dedabeev in February 2021. In doing so, he confirmed the facts of the indictment and the offenses attributed to him.



Attorney Nathalie Hagai from the police investigation department said in response that "the defendant fully admitted to the indictment as written and stated, these are crimes of aggravated murder that were attributed to him from day one, with a mandatory life sentence on the side.

He accepted responsibility.

We hope that the legal process will end soon and that the family will be able to start their rehabilitation journey."

He tied the children up and shot her in the head.

According to the indictment, after an argument between the couple, Raz tied his three older children with a rope.

After Diana questioned his actions, he strangled her, stabbed her, and immediately shot her in the leg and head.

After that he called his crying children: "Yes! There is no mother now."



The indictment attributes to him the commission of murder under aggravated circumstances, assault of a minor or helpless by a responsible person and abuse of a minor or helpless by a responsible person.
