In a climate of maximum tension after the shooting at the supermarket belonging to the family of Antonella Rocuzzo in Rosario, Alberto Fernández communicated with the mayor of that city, Pablo Javkin, who minutes before the conversation had harshly questioned the national government and the President for the lack of support in the battle against insecurity and drug traffickers.
"I want you here. How far is the President from here, come here," Javkin demanded emphatically in a critical tone and then added.
"Let the Rosario people work, come take care of the Rosario people, work to take care of us. I tell all those who should be here today and are not."
The criticism was also aimed at Security Minister Aníbal Fernández, who also contacted the mayor after the questions.
The contact between the President and the mayor of radical origin and former ally of Elisa Carrió was brief.
Fernández made himself available, as Clarín was able to corroborate from Rosario sources.
