Ilana knew all her life that fashion and design were meant for her, she has come a long way to realize her passion for her profession and to reach the estate she is in today and especially to prove to us that the realization of dreams has no age.
Ilana, tell us how it all started
Ilana: My connection to the world of design began since I was a child, I was always very creative, I was constantly drawing, doing handicrafts, dressing dolls.
I always had an attraction to art, and when I grew up and it was time to go study a profession, I was sent from the school suitability tests to go study at Shankar.
My parents of course did not agree, at the time they said that fashion is not a livelihood, and wanted for me an organized profession with a fixed salary and stable hours.
The term "fashion designer" did not exist at all in those days in Israel.

so what did you do
Ilana: I turned to other professions but still kept my affinity for design, I ran an Italian furniture store, I worked in flower arrangements, I had a toy store and I also worked as a clown for birthday parties, there are no rules in making a living.
Where did the turning point happen?
Ilana: After gaining knowledge in the world of fashion and design, I decided to fulfill my dream and six years ago I opened my boutique, which is my private kingdom where I can realize my love for designs, clothes and people.
What is important to you to give the customer who comes to the store to choose a dress?
Ilana: A dress is like a piece of jewelry for me, I actually design the man through clothing and accessories, I put jewelry and shoes on it, I advise on a suitable hairstyle, to complete the overall look that will bring out the best in the man.

It is also important to Ilana to support Israeli products
Ilana: I am in favor of providing a living for Israeli designers, and encouraging production and employment in the country, this gives added value to clothes that are not just fabric and have a story behind them.
Who is your main clientele?
Ilana: All of them, from children who come to choose a loose dress to religious/Orthodox and adults, everyone can find their "glove" here, the store meets the needs of all of them from any sector, preferably to make them look as beautiful as possible.
The shopping experience is very important to me, from the first meeting to my advice to the customer on what suits her and if she feels comfortable with it.
For me, every woman is a queen and deserves the dress and crown she deserves.
