A building under construction at the Seaman’s Home site at No. 11 Middle Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, a fire broke out at 11:11 p.m.
The Fire Services Department issued a "Tsim Sha Tsui Fire Special Notice" on Facebook, stating that the Fire Services Department is carrying out fire fighting operations. If the public is affected by the smoke and odor drifting with the wind, they can close the doors and windows and keep calm.
It was seen at the scene that a fire broke out in a high-rise building under construction. The authorities received more than 30 reports from people, some of whom were on Hong Kong Island and could see the flames with naked eyes.
The firefighters rushed to the scene after receiving the report and were trying to rescue him.
It was initially learned that at least two people were injured and had to be sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance for treatment. It is known that the two were nearby drivers who were suspected of being burned by falling sparks.
Due to the intensity of the fire, some of the fire debris fell to the ground. The firefighters and the police had to draw a cordon off the site to prevent citizens from approaching.

A citizen who witnessed the incident described it as "like a disaster movie".
At the junction of Nathan Road and Middle Road, about 150 meters away from the fire site, more than 100 citizens gathered to take pictures.
By around midnight on March 3, the fire on the scene had spread from the upper floors to the outer walls of the middle and lower floors.
It is reported that some passers-by noticed earlier that a torch was flashing in the burning building. It is unknown if anyone called for help. The firefighters are trying to enter the building to search.
