Today, an earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale rocked the city of Oaxaca, in southern Mexico.
The US Geological Survey stated that the tremor, which struck at a depth of 87.729 km, was monitored at 16.3541 degrees north latitude and 94.685 degrees west longitude.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries as a result of the tremor.
