A BMW driver caught the attention of a police patrol in Regensburg due to his aggressive driving style.

The officials wanted to check him, but the driver fled and rammed two company cars.

The police therefore shot at the vehicle tires, according to a police press release.

According to the press release, a civil patrol noticed a BMW on Lore-Kullmar-Strasse around 6:40 p.m.

This attracted attention due to his aggressive driving style and should therefore be checked.

The BMW driver ignored the stop signs and tried to flee.

He then drove into a multi-storey car park on Galgenbergstrasse.

There he should be blocked by two service vehicles, as reported by the police.

"The driver, who was alone in the BMW, rammed the two vehicles.

In order not to be hit, an officer who had already got out jumped to the side," the police continued.

As the BMW continued towards the exit of the underground car park, one of the officers fired several shots at the car's tires from a short distance.

Despite two flat tires, the BMW driver drove out of the parking garage.
