", summarized the Advocate General Philippe Chassaigne, requesting 12 to 15 years of criminal imprisonment for the rape, committed on May 30, 2012 in Boussières (Doubs), very close to Besançon.
The 15-year sentence imposed by the court is similar to that of the assizes of Côte-d'Or, in June 2021. This sentence followed the cancellation of a previous verdict of twelve years by the assize court of appeal du Jura in October 2019, which followed his first conviction, for the same rape, to eight years by the Assize Court of Doubs, in 2018.
Psychiatric problem
Abdelkrim Mouina, now 54 years old, had once again challenged this verdict and the Court of Cassation had canceled it, thus leading to this fourth trial at the assizes, this time in Chalon-sur-Saône (Saône-et-Loire). ).

The accused had already been sentenced in 1986 by the minors' assize court to 10 years' imprisonment for gang rape, then nine other times since for theft, destruction and violence.
He suffers from psychiatric disorders which led him to be hospitalized on several occasions, including a long stay of six years.
