Occupied Jerusalem - SANA
The Palestinian Prime Minister, Muhammad Shtayyeh, described the statements of Bezalel Smotrich, the minister in the Israeli occupation government, in which he called for erasing the town of Huwwara, south of Nablus, as terrorist and racist, and as carrying a harbinger of dangerous aggression against the Palestinian people in the occupied territories.
Shtayyeh said in a statement, according to the Palestinian Wafa Agency: These statements alone are sufficient to bring him to international justice, as they constitute official incitement to commit new massacres against the Palestinians in the town and neighboring villages, which are still living under the weight of the horrific massacre committed by the occupation forces and settlers last Monday night, during which they burned homes and property. They committed murders, terrorized children and women, and took children as human shields in Aqabat Jabr camp in Jericho, whose residents today have been subjected to killings and terrorism.
Shtayyeh added, "These statements reveal what the Israeli officials have been hiding from terrorist practices that we knew about and were trying to convince the world of, until they appeared in a blatant manner without any equivocation, which puts the world before its responsibilities."
He called for international condemnations of these statements to be accompanied by an act that puts an end to Israeli crimes, ending the occupation, and establishing a Palestinian state in accordance with the resolutions of international legitimacy.
