The daughter of a judge was arrested last night (Wednesday) during a demonstration against the legal revolution in Herzliya.

During the demonstration, the daughter was arrested and brought to the nearby police station - from where she was released later that evening.

When her father heard of her arrest, he hurried to the station, but did not introduce himself as a judge, but rather as a concerned father.

According to the videos that the organizers of the protests are distributing on social networks, it appears that the daughter was arrested after she alerted the policeman.

Sources exposed to the matter of her arrest claimed that she was also tied to her legs, a procedure usually reserved for high-risk detainees.

In another video distributed by the organizers of the protests, the protester is seen saying after she was released from detention, with her father standing by her side, that the police "made me feel that I was wrong, I said, 'Leave me alone, I am defending the country'. I am not the one who was wrong. I am the one who fought And we will continue to fight together."

Her father is a senior and respected criminal judge, who deals with explosive cases, among others of elected officials.

The police stated that "During the protest, 39 protesters were arrested on suspicion of involvement in disorder and disobeying police orders. The suspects were taken for questioning, each suspect according to his part, and at the end they were released except for two who were brought before a judge. The Israel Police will continue to allow the freedom of protest and expression for everyone within the limits of the law, but not We will allow violations of public order, riots and violence of any kind against the law."

Attorney Daniel Haklai, who represents the protester and the other detainees together with attorneys Daniel Chertuk and Noam Meshi, said that "the five false arrestees from Herzliya from the demonstration of law students from Reichman University, including many citizens of Herzliya - were released from their detention at the Gillot police station around midnight. The videos show Definite and violent false arrests."

He also noted that Shahar Mor, the protester who was injured in the ear by the stun grenade thrown in Tel Aviv, is hospitalized at the Ichilov Hospital while undergoing treatment in a pressure chamber.

"We will file a complaint with the Attorney General's Office and we will also consider a potential compensation claim," said the lawyer.
