In the last two months, the Central Unit in the Central District conducted an accelerated investigation, which includes many investigative exercises and the use of advanced technological means, which led to the disclosure of the identities of the suspects involved in the murder and their arrest in strict timing in accordance with the investigation plan and its needs.
The indictment filed is confidential because it involves minors, as is the motive for the murder.
In the investigation conducted by the investigators, a group of juvenile delinquents were discovered who behaved violently, attacked and used a mask of threats against minors and acted, as suspected, to prevent minors from talking to the police while using blackmail, assaults and threats.
The main suspect, 15.5 years old, was indicted for premeditated murder and two others were indicted for murder under reduced circumstances, an offense punishable by 20 years in prison.
During the undercover investigation conducted by the investigators, they managed to thwart two attempts to harm other minors and also discovered that prior to Nathaniel's murder, another attempt was made to harm him.
In the meantime, the Israel Police investigators in cooperation with the officers of the Rashlat Police Station and the forensic investigators of the Shefala region isolated the scene after the incident and collected many findings, including forensic samples, testimonies, documentation materials and other evidence that led to the suspicion that this was a particularly violent local gang of boys .
The arrest of the 3 suspects - minor residents of Rosh Latak between the ages of 15-16, was extended at the High Court in accordance with the needs of the investigation and this morning an indictment will be filed against them for their involvement in the murder and for other violent offenses in previous cases.
