Three children, ages 3, 4 and 8, were killed this morning (Thursday) in a car accident in East Jerusalem.
The children, residents of the Shoafat refugee camp, were on their way to the educational frameworks.
According to Palestinian reports, they were run over by a bus.
A medical team that arrived at the scene treated them, and evacuated them in critical condition to the city's hospitals, where the doctors had to pronounce them dead.
The police started investigating the circumstances of the incident.
MDA paramedic Nadav Tayeb said: "When we arrived in Havira with Red Crescent ambulances, they transferred to us two 3- and 4-year-old children and an 8-year-old unconscious girl with multiple systemic injuries.
We immediately transferred them to intensive care mobiles and evacuated them during resuscitation operations to the hospitals when they are in critical condition."

Moshe Hillel, a rescue team volunteer, added: "I quickly arrived at the entrance to the refugee camp, and Red Crescent ambulances brought us three pedestrians, children aged 3, 4 and 8, after they were hit by a vehicle inside the refugee camp. The children had very severe multi-system injuries , and were brought to us during resuscitation efforts, which we continued together with paramedics and other MDA medics who arrived on the scene."
