I am pleased to address the Minister, in my capacity as president of the Association of Magistrates and Officials of the National Justice, in order to convey the persistent concern of our institution for the increase in serious crimes affecting members of power judiciary and public ministries as well as the entire population, due to the growth of drug trafficking crimes and those that are linked to the network of criminal organizations.

This Association, with the unanimity of the sectors that comprise it, deems it opportune and profitable to convey through it to the National Executive Power our initiative to generate, within this institution, a space capable of generating a Dialogue Table that seeks, along with your intervention, the representation of judges and prosecutors of national and federal justice, especially knowledgeable about the problem in question and the specific actions that its efficient treatment demands by the three Departments of the Federal Government.

We consider it essential to work on the design of public policies that lead to short, medium and long-term solutions, given the ostensible scourge of organized crime that is projected throughout our country, with special power in provinces such as Santa Fe, certain areas border, the Buenos Aires suburbs and even within the detention centers, which instead of fulfilling their essential resocializing function have become, in many cases, the base of operations for drug traffickers.
