The “employment guarantee” appeared as the first of their motivations, followed by “the interest of the professions”, “conditions” and “working time”, then “remuneration”.
The contrast with the current situation is striking!
The administration today is simply no longer a dream.
However, the movement of "yellow vests" had finally resulted in a demand from the French for more public services, and greater proximity to the agents of the administration.
A burst of respect for the police had even emerged after the 2015 attacks, as well as for hospital workers, applauded during the Covid crisis.
Alas, these strong moments of admiration for these difficult professions did not really give the French people the desire to join the ranks of the administration.
