Munich – Winter sports fans could look forward to a decent amount of snow cover in Upper Bavaria last weekend.
In the course of the week, the sun showed up in many places, and the temperatures even climbed into the double-digit range.
A look at the weather forecast for next week shows: Winter is getting one last chance.
It really seems to be the very last chance that it will snow again in Bavaria.

Although, according to the German Weather Service (DWD), there will still be maximum temperatures of around twelve degrees in Bavaria on Friday and Saturday, the DWD warns of frost in the morning hours.
Between midnight and 10 a.m. there will be a light frost at -2 degrees.
"Meteorologically, spring has started, but in terms of the calendar, we are still in the middle of winter," weather expert Dominik Jung from
wetter.net
begins his current forecast.
That will be shown again in the coming week.
Sleet showers are possible as early as Sunday afternoon.
However, first of all, mainly in northern Germany, according to the DWD, Bavaria is only “regionally” affected.
The so-called “late winter onset” will probably not really hit the Free State until the middle of next week.

On Wednesday there is therefore again "potential for a white surprise." There could even be snowflakes down to low altitudes.
All of Bavaria is colored with blue flakes on the meteorologist's weather map, the temperatures are falling below freezing.

In this context, Jung mentions again how important the golden O to O rule (October to Easter) is for winter tires.
Since the late winter seems to be a tough affair, the winter tires should definitely remain on.
